Robinhood Markets (HOOD) showcased a suite of new features at its annual Hood Summit in Las Vegas, targeting both active and casual traders. The updates aim to broaden access, enhance flexibility, and refine the platform's user experience. Key additions include multiple individual accounts, simulated trade testing, and futures integration on the Legend platform.
Overnight index options will extend trading windows to nearly 24 hours on weekdays. A universal ladder tool will consolidate order books across equities, crypto, and futures, while short selling debuts on the equities ladder. Robinhood Social, a new service, will allow users to follow verified traders and public figures, with real-time trade visibility.
